Isagenix is Leaving a Legacy

February 29, 2009 (view blog entry)

Today was a great day! Because of Isagenix, an amazing young lady has taken a big step toward financial security.

Today, our 24-year-old daughter Laura opened up an RDSP - that's a Registered Disability Savings Plan - with her own money. Money she has earned as an Isagenix Consultant.

Imagine how proud she must feel to walk into the bank and say that she has the money to make an investment in her future security.

Living on a disability pension, Laura lives in poverty. Of course, as loving (and doting) parents, we ensure she has more than just the basic necessities of life.

But, we are teaching her that she must learn to live within her means, because her dad and I will not always be around to subsidize her lifestyle. That means living very simply - no extravagances allowed.

Her Isagenix commissions not only have allowed her to take this monumental step, but they have also made it possible for her to enjoy regular "coffee" breaks with friends, and some interesting shopping trips - two very important things to Laura.

But most of all, Laura's commissions give her a sense of pride. She is thrilled when she receives notice that money is being deposited into her account! Her excited "Whoo Hoo" gives notice of pay day!

Feeling great about the money isn't everything though. Laura is also committed to improving her own health, and is becoming quite outspoken about others'! Only yesterday she was teaching a friend about the horrors of pop.

"There's nothing good about pop," she says. "It's really bad for your health. It's better to drink mineral water or green tea!"

So, not only is Isagenix helping Laura to improve her financial status and her self-esteem, it is also helping her physical health. The more product she gets into her body, the better she feels. Although she has a long way to go to get to optimal health, she is moving in the right direction, and I'm sure, if I asked her, she'd want to invite everyone to come along for the ride.

I'm so proud of what Laura has accomplished! She inspires me and motivates me each and every day. She is the reason I do the work I do. She has great purpose in the world, and is fulfilling that purpose marvelously - God certainly knew what He was doing when He gave Dennis and me the gift of our daughter. I am privileged to be a part of her life.
